When I first was asked to take on the responibilities of being President of the Royal Society, I was honored, of course, but frankly, terribly confused. What was this society that I had only recently learned about? Who are its members? What is its relationship to the Faery Folk? What is its purpose? So many questions and so few answers.

I can tell you that since that day, I have learned an immense amount and have come to embrace the mission of the Society. It is with great pleasure that I now write to you and introduce the Faery Folk, without whom none of this would be possible.

On this site, we attempt to bring to you the stories of the Faery Folk. We give them a place where they can tell us about their lives and history. We can learn about how to help them and help ourselves to honor Mother Nature. We provide craft activities for human children that they can do with found objects from their backyards or neighborhood parks. And that is really one of the main themes of the Royal Society- there is a world outside.

The world outside your door is one that holds many adventures. Once you cross your threshold and your foot touches earth, you never know whom you may meet and where you may be led. I found that out only a few years ago when I first met Puck. Since that day, my life has been one adventure after another... and I would not have it any other way.

Along with my esteemed guests, I will also be providing posts to keep you informed of the latest Society doings.

Read on. Learn what you can. And most importantly, believe in the Faery Folk.

Most Sincerely,

Delphinia Clive
